The summer is almost gone and the children will be back at school soon.
This is a memorable time of year for me. It’s my birthday on 1st September, so as a child I looked forward to my birthday all through the summer holidays (which seemed sooo long!), then when my birthday was over, a pit of dread in my stomach took over, as the new school term approached.
I didn’t like school – I wasn’t very good at mixing, and had very little confidence. Thankfully, the Lord has worked a miracle in my life, although I haven’t forgotten the feeling!
Now I love to think of children being encouraged and inspired by our books, just as I was inspired by the books I read as a new Christian.
Exciting, isn’t it? Books really do change lives. And nothing is impossible with the Lord!
As I’ve mentioned before, we have decided to put all Dernier books on kindle for 99p, as my birthday gift to you in these difficult times.
Just for 1st September 2022 (my 60th birthday, I might as well come clean!).
So whether you need a bedtime story for your own children, or want to send a story to someone you love… or if you just want to check them out, please do go over to Amazon’s kindle store on 1st September, where you can find all our kindle ebooks for 99p.
Not all our books are on kindle – you can check out the selection here:
The offer is worldwide, though, so wherever in the world you live, you will be able to get them for a similar price.
They can be read on any digital device – and as children/teens love their phones, tablets and laptops, that kind of works well. 🙂
We hope this means that whatever your financial circumstances, you can may be able to afford at least one book to thrill your children and encourage them to walk with God. Or feel free to stock up and buy them all for all the children on your heart!
(And of course you can still buy Dernier books from us or from Christian Bookshops, if you need a ‘proper’ book.)
So until next time, enjoy the stories. May they be a huge blessing to all who read them!
P.S. Know anyone else who might be interested? Please do feel free to spread the word.
