We can learn so much from stories!
One thing stories do, is allow us to think things through for ourselves, and come to our own conclusions – whether it’s the reliability of the FBI, office politics, or love. 🙂
Sometimes, of course, the stories are a bit far-fetched – but as long as the characters engage us and the plot isn’t too ridiculous, we enjoy them.
If the characters in a story are courageous, they inspire us. If a soldier wins through, or the girl gets the right man, we love it! If the villain is hard-hearted, we take note – and we like it if justice takes its course.
We like stories that resonate with us, speak to us where we are, and that perhaps we learn something from, too.

Our children and teens need stories like this, too, to inspire them to walk with God.
