“I read The City Kid over summer and it was a brilliant read! It was relevant, contemporary and well written. I think that most people will identify with the lead character; and would also like to have a friend like his! It was good that the book didn’t shy away from peer pressure and the dangers of drink and how hurt you can be if you have sex before marriage/ a committed relationship. The print was the right font and it was a nice, pleasant read. I will definitely be buying some copies for my youth group.” 🙂
