How It All Started

I first started writing Christian fiction for young people when I couldn’t find novels to buy for the kids in our church youth club (11-14s) from a non-church background. I was looking for something fast moving, fun, where it was normal to be a Christian – where faith was part of the story. Then I discovered that nobody was publishing books like that! That’s when the idea of starting Dernier Publishing really took hold – and it started with The Treasure Hunt.

Now we have fifteen books by six authors, and more on the way. 🙂 God is good.
