Dear Dernier Friends,
What a lovely month March can be, as the spring flowers that we have been watching so carefully burst out, blossoms begin to bloom, and even as I write I can see a bee out of the window!
We haven’t quite reached Easter yet, but what a wonderful celebration that is, of new life in Christ. What hope! What joy! What an incredible thing it is, that because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, we can now be called children of God. Nothing comes close to that, does it?
And yet there are still so many people who need to know these wonderful truths.
Even our children are growing up in a world full of disasters and wars, and are feeling hopeless and alone. Let’s bring them the good news through story!
If your church is holding an Easter event for kids, why not see if the congregation could pool together and sponsor books for the children to take home?
Here are 3 we would recommend, that are easy reads, not in-your-face Christian, but still inspiring:
Nobody’s Dog for 6-9s
The Treasure Hunt for 8-11s, or A Pennyworth of Peppermints
London’s Gone for 10-14s
The City Kid for teens.
There are fewer calories than chocolate, and will last much longer! Hehe. But the truth will be in the children’s home, to speak the message even when you’re not there.
A gift shows you care.
I do hope we can help you – it’s why we exist.
Right, let’s move on, because I could write about that for a long time!
Here’s some quick news:
Pre-order the updated version of A Pennyworth of Peppermints for £1 off/copy until March 31st.
And don’t forget the writing competition closes soon, too!

If you have any queries or comments about the books, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Catch you again soon,

P.S. I nearly forgot… yikes! We have a poster offer on our website – 2 for 1. They would also make a fab Easter gift, don’t you think? 🙂
