  1. Did you enjoy this story? Would you have liked to have been on this adventure with Debbie, Ravi, Lance and Joel?
  2. In this book, thieves are stealing things from people’s sheds. Has anyone ever stolen anything from you? How did that make you feel?
  3. In chapter one, Ravi and his friends talk about the person they would least like to buy a present for. Who would that person be for you?
  4. Ravi says that being kind to people who don’t deserve it is really hard. Do you agree? Do you think it’s worth trying? Give reasons for your answer.
  5. Joel doesn’t want to deliver a parcel to Mrs Adamson. He has been listening to tales about her that other people have been saying. What do you think about that?
  6. Mrs Adamson trusted the gas official, so ended up accusing the wrong people. Do you think that’s an easy mistake to make?
  7. If you were Ravi, would you have run into the barn to find your bike? What do you think about him wanting to be bold and courageous?
  8. Do you think if you pray you should get what you ask for? What do you think of Tina’s explanation about prayer in chapter thirteen?
  9. Tina suggests they give Mrs Adamson a second chance. Do you think everyone deserves a second chance? When might you not want to do that?
  10. Ravi, Debbie, Lance and Joel work as a team. How important do you think that was to the success of the mission? What does that tell us about friends?
