Dear Dernier Friends,
The school holidays have begun! For some of us, that won’t mean much more than the roads being a bit quieter in the mornings… For others, it will mean a significant change in routine (kids at home!).
Whatever the next few weeks hold for you, may you know the Lord’s blessings on your life. As I read this morning in John’s gospel: “From his fulness we have all received, grace upon grace.” There’s always so much we can give thanks for!
One true blessing is the ability to be able to read. To enjoy excellent content is life-enhancing, especially if the book also touches the spirit and soul. This is the aim of all our stories – to touch young hearts with the good news of Jesus.

The Dernier Book Club is designed to help 8-11s engage with a new book every month (for a year) – not just read the books, but enjoy activities that bring the story even more alive! These include crafty things, competitions, things to do… and lots more, from the comfort of your own home.
It’s also an excellent opportunity for you to spend time together and build faith together. And what could be more important than that?
